The Parents’ Group is responsible for organizing fun and educational events for the school through out the year.  We are looking for volunteers to help us.  Below are the events we will be hosting this year and the Coordinators that we are seeking to help us.

The Preschool Parent Group will introduce themselves on Registration Days, look for their table in Fellowship Hall. For the 2017-2018 School Year Jody Staples (jodystaples@me.com) and Copley REad (copley.read@gmail.com)  will be leading the group. Karen Tolbert, Teacher and Parent will be assisting this year’s transition.

Bulb planting – TBD

Spring bulbs need to be planted in the fall.  This fun morning activity teaches the children about planting and also helps to keep our school beautiful.  Volunteers are needed to help with the planting.

Children’s Village Coordinator – TBD

This is a Christmas event where we ask for gifts donations for the Rosemont Children’s Village.  Volunteers are needed to help manage the gift collection and drop off donations.

Family Fun Day – TBD

This is our most important event and it requires the help of many volunteers.  Our theme is year is Dr. Seuss.  We need committee heads and volunteers for the following:

Hospitality   Food
Set Up and Clean Up   Entertainment
Decorations   Games / Prizes / Crafts
Silent Auction Donations   Class Donations Raffle Baskets

Classroom Parents – Ongoing

A volunteer for each classroom is needed to help coordinate communications between the Parents’ Group and the parents for each class.  This person would serve as the piont person for each class.

Teacher Appreciation luncheon  – TBD

Our thank you luncheon to our amazing teachers and staff.  Volunteers are needed to help setup and manage the event.

End of the Year Picnic – TBD

Our final event of the year.  We need help securing the location and with food.
